Notice of Termination

child law solicitor2

A number of Tenants and Landlords have come to us with several issues regarding Notice of Termination.

One issue is regarding minor typographical errors that occur on the Notice of Termination. Adjudicators who hear disputes in relation to terminations can avail of the slip rule.
This allows an Adjudicator to hold a Notice of Termination valid so long as the error does not prejudice the Notice of Termination in a material respect.

If the Adjudicator utilises the slip rule, the Notice of Termination which has a typographical error is held to be valid.

Should any Tenant or Landlord have any queries in relation to the above please do not hesitate contact us
