As of 14 December 2023, applicants to the new resolution board (previously PIAB) will now be able to avail of mediation.
The mediation service is firstly open in employer liability cases from 14 December 2023 and will be expanded to public liability and multi liability claims in 2024.
It is important for clients to note that mediation is a voluntary and confidential process. It is important that clients seek proper legal advice before engaging in such services as any
information provided may impact an applicant’s claim in the future.
